History

This will be the fourth installation of the NYC Jazz Guitar Festival. In 2010, 2012 and 2015 the festival was held at Zeb’s, a studio/performance space in Chelsea, Manhattan. Zeb’s founder and guitarist/ composer/producer, Saul “Zebulon” Rubin hosted performances and recordings by many of the world’s finest musicians over a seven year period. Zeb’s was one of the best loft style¬† jazz venues in New York City.

The building was sold in 2016 and torn down. Zeb’s is closed but the festival continues at the 75 Club a beautiful space in the heart of Tribeca. The energy created by this amazing music and camaraderie of the players is very rare and extraordinary.
